Regulations Governing the Venue Use (Borrowing) and Management of the Resource Room of the Special Education Center at National Taiwan Normal University

Article 1The Resource Room is only available for the personnel of the Special Education Center (the Center) and the students receiving special education at the University.
Article 2The venues of the Resource Room available for the students receiving special education include the atrium public space on the third floor and the indoor spaces of R309, R316A, R325, R325A (including the studio), R326, R331, etc.
Article 3The aforementioned venues are available during the the same hours as the opening hours of the Resource Room. During the semester: 08:00-19:00 from Monday to Thursday and 08:00-17:00 on Friday. During the summer/winter vacation: subject to the hours announced.
Article 4Except for Resource Room activities, student counseling, and student club activities, the use (borrowing) of the venue and the atrium on the third floor of the Center shall not exceed the opening hours of the Resource Room. If the prescribed activity hours exceed the opening hours of the Resource Room, students are required to apply to the instructor for a temporary access card for the elevator door on the third floor of the Bo Ai Building and they must return it during the opening hours of the Resource Room on the next day. Students who delay returning without prior notice will be disqualified from the use (borrowing) of the room for a month. Students are liable for compensation if they lose the card.
Article 5Students with difficulties in moving and in need for the access to the Resource Room may apply for a temporary access card for the elevator door, with long term usage, on the third floor of the Bo Ai Building by paying a deposit of NT$ 250, which will be refunded when they return the card, no later than at Graduation. They are liable for compensation if the card is lost. This temporary access card can only be used by the individual; otherwise the application will be refused.
Article 6The venues of the Resource Room are equipped with devices such as computers, computers for the blind, and elevator desks (varying). If the borrower needs to use other equipment, he/she should prepare it by himself/herself; or they can borrow it from the Resource Room if the center can provide such equipment.
Article 7The user (borrower) shall properly maintain the environment and equipment in the venues, and the user (borrower) shall be fully liable for compensation in case of any damage.
Article 8The user (borrower) must maintain the environment clean (such as cleaning the table top and floor and taking out the garbage) and the venue must be restored to its original state (such as closing windows, turning off lights, turning off air conditioning, placing tables and chairs in order, etc.).
Article 9The user (borrower) who uses the venue for purposes other than as registered, violates regulations, damages the equipment at the venue, fails to renew the application as required, re-lends it to others or meets any circumstances deemed unsuitable for the use (borrowing) by the Resource Room are not allowed to use (borrow) the venue. If the venue has been approved for use (borrowing), the user (borrower) must discontinue the use and will be disqualified from using (borrowing) the venue for one month.
Article 10Any matters not covered herein shall be subject to the relevant rules of the Center and the Resource Room.
